Favourite Views from Arthur’s Seat

In light of COVID-19, everyone's health and safety is the most important thing. This means despite the love and desire to share our friendly, passionate, and unique country, we must ask everyone at this time not to travel to or around Scotland. Please stay safe everyone.

The top of Arthur's Seat - Edinburgh's extinct volcano named after one of Britain's legendary leaders, King Arthur – offers one of greatest views you can capture of Scotland’s Capital.

A stone’s throw from the heart of the city, Arthur’s Seat sits 251m above sea level and is the highest point in Holyrood Park which is also home to Salisbury Crags – a series of 150 foot cliff faces dominating Edinburgh’s skyline as well as Duddingston Loch – a fresh water lock rich in birdlife.

Serviced by a nearby carpark, the park and Arthur’s Seat is popular with walkers, cyclists and runners alike.

The unrivalled panoramic views Arthur’s Seat offers are like no other.  For as long as many of us can’t be there in person, we are asking our followers to share their favourite pictures from Arthur's Seat.

We'd love to see your pictures of family hikes, picnics or moments with nature that you’ve enjoyed in the past.

Please post your photos below!
