Paid vs unpaid parking

When a visitscotland attraction entry is tagged with the P for parking, do I assume it is unpaid unless otherwise mentioned or vicerversa? Or is there no way of knowing through this website?

Hi @Paulus, most public car parks in Scotland will cost you 80 pence per hour. Parking on Sunday is free!
If you have specific attractions / locations in mind then it would be best to ask direct.
    Hope that helps a little.
    Best regards

    Hi @Paulus

Each attraction will have its own criteria when it comes to parking. Some will charge, some wont and sometimes you wont know this until you turn up or you look on their dedicated website.

Above it was mentioned that parking was free on a Sunday, this all very much depends where about you are going. Some places are free all day, others until 1pm or some do charge all day. It just all very much depends on where you are heading to.

Was there anywhere in particular that you were looking to go that maybe we could help you with?
