Montrose Air Heritage Museum, Britain's oldest Air Station dating back to 1913, is holding an Open Weekend on the 24th and 25th of August.

This event is free of charge and is open from 10 - 4pm. There will be some planes flying in, the Spitfire will be open for people to have a shot in, some games, face painting etc.

The Air Station is all run by amazing volunteers and they put in a lot of work to keep the museum going for the next generation so if you are in the Area please drop into see them and support their event

This is a really good event. I took Hamish the Coo-Van to this last year.
A great place to visit, meet volunteers and see the air displays too.  Well worth visiting.
