Accommodation Perthshire or Argyll

Looking for beautiful accommodation suggestions midway between Dunvegan and Glasgow for September

Hello @jackiec, its about 5 1/2 hours drive between Dunvegan and Glasgow so you've got lots of options along the way depending on where you'd like to make the stop and what route is your preference.

Here are two options I recently visited that I thought were really incredible:

    Glencoe House

This magnificent mansion house, which is, as the name suggests, situated in the famous Glencoe Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. Glencoe House offers luxury, 5-star suite accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and is an ideal location for all occasions, be it a short break on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis or a unique and special wedding venue for up to 40 people. One of the unique features of the suites is the large private sitting room, which boasts numerous original features such as marble fireplaces and ornate ceilings.

    Invergarry Hotel

This Famous 4 Star Inn is a beautiful Highland retreat nestled in the village of Invergarry by the banks of River Garry. Located centrally between Fort William and Fort Augustus, Inverness and the West Coast and Skye, the Hotel is a perfect location for touring the entire Highlands or just quietly escaping it all in peace by the River.

    Hope this helps!
