Where can we get a litre of petrol on OH islands

We are cycle touring around the islands but want to know if we can fill up our small petrol canister? We know min is 2 ltrs...

Hi @Shazza, why would you need petrol if you're cycling? I doubt any of the petrol stations will let you use less than 2 Litres and I think the pumps are set to dispense a minimum amount. I guess you could always ask a passing motorist to donate a litre while they're filling up and you could contribute to the cost?

If it's fuel for camping stoves then you'd probably be best stocking up with Camping Gas before you left.

I am assuming OH = Outer Hebrides. There is a pump next to the general store in Leverburgh.
