Credit Cart - Rent a Car

Can I rent a car without a credit card?

I think the answer here is no. All the car hire companies will take a swipe of a credit or debit card as a way of taking a deposit. I'd be very surprised if any took cash only (they'd need some way of securing the vehicle) but you'll probably be ok if you at least have a debit card.

Usually car rental companies accept only credit cards, no debit or cash...

Read related information here: www.rentalcars.com/en/guides/rental-basics/hire-without-credit-card/ (I still can't post links so I've written it as text, just copy it into your navigator).

    Even late, hope this helps.
