Getting a tattoo in Scotland

I want to get a tattoo in the near future and seeing as it will be a celtic/gaelic design, I was thinking of getting it during my trip to Scotland. I'm planning a 3 week roadtrip in May 2019 (locations not yet defined). Does anyone have recomandations?

    Hi @Steffike4

There are some fantastic Tattoo studios in Edinburgh and Aberdeen that I know of, although I'm sure there are plenty more!

Most of them are by appointment only so you'll need to get in touch beforehand to see what they can do for you.

A friend of mine swears by Rebel Ink in Aberdeen. I've been there myself when she was getting one done and the staff are all lovely. The quality of work is excellent too!

Watermelon Tattoo Studio in Edinburgh do some fantastic watercolour style designs, my daughter is planning to go there to get her first one done.

Studio XIII are reasonably close to the centre and do a lot of custom work if you have something specific in mind. I'm looking at them to get a reasonable sized Nordic tattoo on my arm.
