The bespoke package includes exclusive use of the castle, accommodation, dinners, entertainment and an Outlander-themed tour of locations in Scotland. The castle has 17 bedrooms and is often used as a wedding venue.
The following section reads:
"Or venture beyond Inverness in search of the mysterious Craigh na Dun, which swept Claire back in time; the nearby Clava Cairns are said to have provided an inspiration for this site."
Clava Cairns were the inspiration of Craigh na Dun and not what you see in the series.
The actual Craigh na Dun film setting is at the back of Dunalastair reservoir in Perthshire.
I hope that clears a couple of things up because I have had several visitors who were a little disappointed.

I recently visited the filming set in Dunure in Ayrshire. It was amazing to have the opportunity to see this! I didn't see the actual filming for Season 4 sadly as the date was changed, but I was also there to create a video of this stunning ruin and coastline.
The coastal village has also been used as a filming location in Season 3. The castle ruin as Silkies island, the coastline and the harbour where Jamie and Claire sailed to find young Ian Murray.
The Harbour View Coffee Shop is lovely wee cafe for refreshments too. I enjoyed a much needed lunch and coffee after walking around, then it was back to exploring
I've visited here often, but I forgot how beautiful it really is. When the sun shines on the ocean the colour changes to turquoise blue. I suppose that's what happens when you spend seven hours wandering, you really get to see a place at your own pace.

Mmm, there's something missing from that wall ...
Cliff top where Jamie and Claire stood in Season 3 - beautiful coastline that you can walk along as part of the Ayrshire Coastal Path. I plan to walk some of this, hopefully in the summer.
