We're thinking of hiring a driver to take my family and I to the Aberdeen Highland Games in June from Glasgow. It's our first trip to Scotland and wanted to do something fun for our 16 year old. Has anyone been? Is it worth the 6 hour RT drive?

Like all the Highland games it's definitely worth the trip. They might not be as glamorous as some others but they are fun. It's usually a very packed day with full of activities.
Usually there are also stalls around the park for extra activities.
If you have never been to Highland games, I would highly recommend them. They are affa fun!
