City of Literature - Illuminated Trail

VisitScotlandMurielVisitScotlandMuriel Member, Moderator, VisitScotland Staff
If you are looking for something different to do this winter, why not brighten up the dark evenings and take a stroll down Edinburgh's Royal Mile?
From John Knox House to the Scottish Parliament you will find boxes displaying literary quotations along the way, 24 in total. They are illuminated from 4pm until 11pm until February 2018.
There is an additional box in the icentre on Princes Street displaying a quote from Catherine Sinclair: "Behold the line of blazing windows more than a mile long"
Please click here for more information on this fantastic initiative and remember to look out for them if you happen to be in the area. Also a great way to beat the January Blues...
