Family-friendly outdoor swimming pools
On a lovely sunny day is there anything better than swimming in an outdoor heated swimming pool? We've got two fabulous options in Scotland one near Glasgow at
Gourock which is an salt water pool, heated to 29 ºC. After a swim you can enjoy the sun terraced area or the traditional patio all with spectacular views of the Clyde Estuary. The second option is near Aberdeen in
Stonehaven located in Queen Elizabeth Park in Stonehaven, this Olympic sized heated open air public pool is the northernmost facility of its kind in UK. Both open air swimming pools offer a fabulous and unique family fun day out

Sounds great Elaine!! Can you guarantee the weather when I decide to go??
It has just undergone a huge refurbishment and was opened by Prince Charles just a few days ago.
I'm hoping Elaine can guarantee the weather too....
Hi there.
I took my little boy (Archie) swimming last Friday and lots of the mums there had recently visited the outdoor pool at New Cummnock and were raving about how beautiful it was. https://dumfries-house.org.uk/attractions/new-cumnock-pool
I'm going to try it out this Friday.
