Dog friendly and Teenagers in North West Highlands?

Hello, I'm new to this forum.  I'm visiting Kinlochewe in the summer holidays with my family, including 2 teenage boys and 2 dogs.  I wondered if anyone can give any recommendations for things to do and places to visit?  Our holiday cottage is quite remote and it wouldn't be fair to leave the dogs there as I imagine that everywhere is quite a distance away.

My husband and I would be happy to wander and walk but I want to do some things that will appeal to the boys too, my youngest has autism and will only tolerate so many walks!  Please could you give me some suggestions?

Any recommendations for places to eat would be appreciated too.  I'm discovering that things are much harder once you have 2 dogs!
