We are renting a car in Scotland and are from the U.S. Do we need an international driver's license to rent a car?

Hi @KimberlyStraney , no you don't. As far as I am aware you can rent a car with an american driving license.

US licence will work here; you will likely only be allowed an automatic. Which probably suits you anyway :-) Enjoy driving here, it's very different to the USA.
    Bespoke tours.
Whisky, Castles and Food a speciality.

Look online for Youtube videos on how to drive on roundabouts here and also road rules.
