What to do in Dumfries and Galloway?
Hi we are off to D&G this coming weekend. Having never visited this part of Scotland I wondered if anyone had any ideas for things to see and do. We are a family of 3 with an 11 year old daughter and a dog. We are based in Port William.
Born in the wrong country!

Best of Scotland in 1 week itinerary (fully by public transport)
My Scotland travels (includes Edinburgh, Skye, Harris, Mull, Arran, Orkney, Loch Lomond, Islay, Oban, Speyside fest)
Have a wee look at my answer to a previous post; I've highlighted some of the top 'must see' places to visit. Another wee gem is Bellymack Farm, near Laurieston, Castle Douglas. They have a Red Kite Feeding station set up on their farm; it is wonderful to watch them!
Have a lovely trip!
