Where to stay in Pitlochry

Hello! My husband and I are visiting Scotland for the first time in May. We're planning to spend a night in Pitlochry, and will be arriving by rail.  We're okay with a walk or taxi ride once we get off the train. We're planning to do this walk, rain or shine: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/perthshire/edradour.shtml

What would be the best place to stay? Do you have any specific motel/B&B/airbnb recommendations? We'd like to find somewhere lively to spend the evening.

Thank you!

    Hello,

I haven't been there myself but the website travelling savage recently wrote a rave review of the Old Mill Inn in Pitlochy. You can find it here: http://www.traveling-savage.com/2017/03/29/wheelhouse-old-mill-inn/

I'm always nervous of recommending places to stay when I haven't personally stayed there however The Old Mill Inn  is in a good location and I believe they have live music most weekends. Good reviews on TripAdvisor too so.
