Where to stay to hear live music in Glasgow?

We're coming next September.  Is there a concentration of clubs in one place enough that we should stay in that neighborhood?  (Similar to Frenchman Street in New Orleans.)

Hi @envirodad I'd suggest staying in the city centre of Glasgow if you'd like to be close to the live music/bars etc. If your accommodation is near Sauchiehall then you'll be walking distance to most things and also near the main bus and train stations.
    Kiwi gal, relocated to Scotland.
