During a visit may I see what is the battle field of the Battle of Dunbar in 1650.
My 8th Great Grandfather was a POW from the Battle, he later was sent to what was then Kittery Maine Usa, on the ship Unity. In 1658 after finishing his tour as a slave, he is given land ( along with other Scots ) in then Kittery Mine , now South Berwick Maine. Their land is now part of a Vaughan Woods State Park, I sure would like to see the area. thank you for any help
