Hello to all the Caravanners!

We bought our first caravan 3 years ago and have had some amazing holidays and short breaks all over Scotland ever since. We're a family of 3, and staying in family rooms in B&Bs started to get a bit expensive, plus with a growing lass, the need for her own space and privacy became more apparent. A lot of self-catering accommodation is too big for just us, the smaller places few and far between and expensive as well. The initial outlay of the caravan and all the stuff that goes with it is quite an investment, but one we thought was worth making, and it has proved to be one of the best things we have done as a family! We've stayed all over the Highlands, the Borders, Dumfriess & Galloway, Ayrshire, Perthshire, Aberdeenshire, the Cairngorms, Argyll and West Lothian, but still to experience the islands - something we hope to remedy soon with a trip to Arran on the cards. We stayed a couple of years ago at Morvich, near Kyle of Lochalsh so were able to have day trips to Skye, and I think that particular site is one of my all time favourites! It would be great to hear from other keen caravanners! Take Care Lainey
