How is the general temperament of the drivers in Scotland? This would make or break my car-hire plans. I'm used to driving on the right side of the road, whereas in the UK people drive on the left.
I will be on an equestrian holiday from the 13th to the 17th of September, and the farms I'm visiting are off in the country side. I'm guessing the roads would be calm -- but I could be wrong.
It is probably not wise to generalize, but I'd like to know if it would be too risky to rent a car and drive on the side of the road which I'm not used to.
