Have you always wanted to find out what a ceilidh is like but haven't managed to make it to one yet?

Recently, VisitScotland created a virtual, interactive ceilidh that will let you experience three different dances, find out facts about each dance and learn the steps and even jump in for a first-person view.

Check out the Ceilidh Experience

Ceilidhs are great fun! They take place regularly throughout the year in Edinburgh - usually at weekends. It is for everyone and you don't have to know how to dance to take part as the caller will walk you through the steps before each dance. There's always people who know what they are doing so it's a case of following them. Don't be shy, give it a try!
