Overnighting in lay-bys.

We will be travelling up to Oban in April with our caravan and have previously broken our journey overnight in the large lay-bys at  Luss. I believe new laws are being brought in regarding the need for a permit to do this. Can anyone clarify this position, please. We will only be sleeping in the caravan, not prepping/cooking food. Tia
