Travelling north with caravan

we are planning to travel as far as John o groats towing a caravan which roads are the best

    Please follow the A9 then A99 to Wick and John O'Groats. Alternatively you can follow the A9 all the way to Thurso and then the A836. This option takes a bit longer but you will be passing the Castle of Mey

    If you are looking for a stop over on the way try the Blair Atholl Caravan park its just of the A9 and it won the campsite of the year award for 2016! you can also visit the fairy tale Blair Castle for some history and a yummy scone in the restaurant!
