Hogmanay Events

There'll be quite a buzz in Inverness on Hogmanay this year!

Our main event, the Red Hot Highland Fling, features music from Skerryvore, The Elephant Sessions, and Scooty & the Skyhooks. It's a free event and takes place at the Northern Meeting Park. The fun starts at 8pm, with fireworks at midnight, and is suitable for all ages.

If that sounds a little too cold for you, head to the Ironworks on Academy Street where Rhythmnreel bring in the new year with their brand of Celtic Rock. This event is over 18s only and starts from 9pm. Tickets are £12, available from the Ironworks website and box office.

For more live music, with more of a cosy pub atmosphere, Hootananny's Hogmanay Extravaganza features music on two floors. Downstairs, enjoy traditional Scottish music from Hoodja, or head upstairs for the best party band in town, The Mystic Shoes. This event is over 18s only, with cocktails available on the top floor in the Glow Bar. Tickets are £12 on the Hootananny website or on the door.
