I'm a freelance photographer coming to Skye between the 16th and 19th December and wanted to ask if there was anything you locals might particularly recommend shooting; perhaps a funny, quirky, unusual and new angle to the island I could show people?
Is there a piece of landscape that looks best in the winter weather and snow?
Any favourite spots to the island?
My shot list so far includes:
Trotternish Peninsula- Old Man of Storr, Quirking, An Corran and Leat Falls.
Views from the drive to Elgol
The Fairy Pools near Glen Brittle
Loch Coruisk (reachable in winter?)
The Black and Red Cuillin (what would be the best side to approach from?)
Tour of the Talisker distillery
Any advice you can off is appreciated.
