Loch Doon, Ayrshire - A Hidden Treasure

Just south of Dalmellington, Ayrshire lies Loch Doon located within the Galloway Forest Park. With amazing scenery and wildlife, you would mistaken it for being in the Highlands!! I visit here often with my son and enjoy visiting the RoundHouse Cafe where they have live footage of the Ospreys nest and the chick which is just learning to fly. Definitely worth a visit
