How can I find Fragrance-free lodging?

My wife gets ill if exposed to artificial (and artificially enhanced) fragrances; to the point that I would rather not visit a place if I cannot secure lodging that does not use scents in the suite. I am finding this difficult to find. I have emailed several hotels in Glasgow and have not received responses. This is a tedious process, and one I am not sure will actually produce the desired effect, so I wonder if there is a more efficient means to locate fragrance-free lodging in Scotland.
So far my searches have yielded nothing. Any ideas on what I should try?

I suppose the best way to enquire would be to contact the hotel directly and hopefully they would be able to accommodate.
If it's specifically artificial and artificially enhanced fragrances perhaps 'Saorsa 1875',  Pitlochry's vegan hotel might be an option.
