Picturesque towns anywhere north of Loch Tay area

Hello all.
Can anybody recommend some towns anywhere north of the Loch Tay area? We’re wanting to venture further north in Scotland next year (Cairngorms and above) and whilst we have no problem finding places in nature we’d love to explore, we’re  struggling to find ideas for towns! Ideally we’d love to visit somewhere with a couple of restaurants, coffee shop, little boutique shops ect. Somewhere similar to Dunkeld/Pitlochry/Callendar.
I love all the beautiful nature Scotland has but I also love a bit of town to go with the country!
Thanks in advance x

Pitlochry is a lovely town with lots to see & do. There are over 40 restaurants and hundreds of accommodation providers. 2 distilleries, The Dam, Salmon Ladder, Loch Faskally, Ben Vrackie Mountain. There are over a dozen cafe houses. Blair Castle is close by. Queens View and the Pass of Killiecrankie.
Pitlochry is definitely worth staying at for a few nights at least.

Aberfeldy is also a lovely town. It is situated between Pitlochry and Kenmore.
Kenmore is on the side of Loch Tay and is beautiful.
Killin is on the other side of Loch Tay.

    Hope this helps a little.
    Regards
    Graeme
