Some of the sights we saw in Edinburgh
I'd never been to Scotland before but we had a weekend break in Edinburgh at the of June 2019 and had a brilliant time.
The main locations we visited over the course of three days in the Scottish capital were Princes
Street Gardens, the Thomas Guthrie Memorial, the Nelson Monument (with
its cool time ball), Edinburgh Castle, Camera Obscura, The Royal Mile,
The People's Story museum, Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh Zoo and various
restaurants, cafes and pubs around Haymarket before returning home to Dublin. Everywhere was worth the visit and the people were lovely.
(I have a cool little travelogue of our trip that shows these off really well but cannot post here as I'm a newbie. Maybe one day!)
Anyway, we will definitely be back soon!
