Hi @danipeer
Thank you for your message. Scotland has so much to offer throughout the whole country, so it really depends what you are most interested in i.e history, outdoor activities etc
You have Abbeys, Castles and countryside in the South, Rugged mountains and islands on the West, remote villages and wilderness in the highlands and beautiful coasts and beaches on the East. This is just a snap shot with lots more on offer including the brand new V&A Museum in Dundee, the chance to travel on the Jacobite Steam train, used in the Harry Potter films, that runs from Fort William to Mallaig, The magnificent Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel, two National Parks, lots of castles, stunning views and rivers and waterfalls along the way.
A car is by far definitely the best way to get the most out of the country and for you to be able to see as much as possible.
Its always best to have your accommodation booked in advance if you can, so please have a look at our dedicated section here You can also book your accommodation, if you wish in any of our iCentres around the country. The iCentres can also give you more local knowledge of the hidden gems that are a must see when in the area. This page will show you where you can find all our centres.
Please let us know if we can help you with anymore information with regards to your planning and we look forward to welcoming you to Scotland in August.
Kind Regards
Lindsay
