Needing help for a trip to the Hebrides
I'm from France and planning a road trip to Scotland this autumn, and I especially want to visit the Outer Hebrides during 1 week and a half.
I just can't make my mind on which kind of transports to use there: I heard about great cycling ways and itineraries, but renting a bike for 1 week will be hard to handle if I bring a suitcase with me (I don't think I'm ready for a one-month trip with a backpack as my only luggage haha).
Otherwise, I could rent a bike for one day or two, if I stay in the same area. On the other days, I could take the bus but I'm not sure if the buses timetables are very extended and allow people to freely lost themselves in the wild nature... I would'nt want to miss the last bus and get stuck!
Anyway, I'm giving myself a headache trying to find the best way to visit Hebrides once I'm there. If you have any recommendations or tips, I'd be glad to hear them! This is my first time planning a whole road trip, and I'm travelling solo so that's even more stressful for me
