Travelling with a Motorhome: Some questions.

Hello!
I'm planning to go to Scotland with my family next August, for 10 days. We will be travelling by motorhome during 7 days. It will be our firs time with a motorhome, so we have many questions. I'd like to know...

-Is there an mobile app to know the situation of campings and places to park the motorhome, to spend the night? I just read that you recommend to book some campings previously, if we know where we will be in advance.

-If we get the motorhome at 7pm... do you recommend to start travelling that late? Is there a place, leaving the Airport and going north, to spend the night?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Gorse it all depends on where you want to go? Which direction?
If you land at Edinburgh or Glasgow and head North towards Inverness then check out the town of Pitlochry! There is loads to see & do around this area of Highland Perthshire. Try Faskally Camp Site.
or you can try Fonab Camp Site.
    Best regards
