The Giant lanterns of China - Edinburgh Zoo

I was lucky enough to be asked to the opening night of The Giant lanterns of China at Edinburgh Zoo. Wow! What a night!

At night, Edinburgh Zoo turns into a world of folktales and fantasy with over 450 beautifully crafted lanterns lighting a magical trail throughout. Until 17th February 2019, you can see unicorns, giants, kelpies and even the Loch Ness Monster, alongside animals past and present.

This unique and special event also includes handmade crafts from Chinese artisans in our festive marketplace and seasonal hot drinks and snacks to keep you warm.

Some other pics from the night :)
