Doors Open Days is a yearly opportunity for the public to see behind the scenes of some of the most interesting and beautiful buildings across Scotland. Each weekend in September is given over to different regions of Scotland to throw open their doors for a couple of days - usually for free - and host special tours, events and talks on the history and design of certain buildings not usually open to the public.  Glasgow devotes a whole week to this. This year September 10th - 16th, there will be some amazing things to see and do around the city.

Take a look at the programme here. Some things are so popular that you have to book your place in advance.
