Scotland weather range in late October?
Coming for first visit in late October 2018, from the Arizona desert, and curious what the range of weather will be? Obviously I'll have rain suit etc., but any details would be much appreciated...

I would echo everything that @fishypro said
The weather will certainly be damper and colder than you are used to with possible snow on the higher ground but not so much in cities. By late October daylight hours will be short with it starting to get dark late afternoon. Luckily you've come to the right country for winter woolies, so if you need an extra layer on arrival you will have plenty of opportunities.
