#myVADundee — What Would YOU Put in the V&A?

The wait for the V&A Dundee to open is almost over!  To help celebrate this, we are getting behind the #myVADundee campaign!  My V&A Dundee is about showing that design isn't all technical, and complicated.  It is showing us that there are designs in everything, from the cars that we drive, right down to the socks that we have on our feet.

The V&A Dundee and us here at VisitScotland would love to know that if you could make a contribution to the collection at the V&A Dundee, what object of yours would you choose and why?!

This can be absolutely anything that means something to you!  Remember to tell us your stories behind your choice!  Also, if you fancy winning a pair of tickets to the V&A Dundee's opening 3D festival, send your pics and stories to V&A Dundee on social media through their Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.  To find out more about the opening festival, click here!

If you're needing some inspiration, have a look at what these celebrities chose of theirs!

Tallia Storm, a Glaswegian pop star has decided that, if she could, she'd donate the first ever microphone she bought from a music shop in Glasgow.

Or what about Dundonian singer Be Charlotte?  She has decided that her glasses that she has made become part of her iconic look, that she managed to get from a retro-indie store in Dundee, would be a good fit in the V&A Dundee!  What do you think?

We want to know what design means to YOU and what objects YOU would donate to the V&A Dundee!  Why not share below and share to the V&A Dundee's social media to be in with a chance of winning tickets to the opening 3D festival!
