Skye to Oban or Mull

We will be traveling to from the Island of Skye by car in June trying to get to Oban or Mull to do the Staffa Island tour the next day.  What is the most scenic drive that can be accomplished in one day?

  • Hi,
The drive from Skye to Oban is about as scenic as it gets - one of my favourite drives - no need for any special diversions.
Born and bred in Scotland, no matter how many times I do that drive, the views still take my breath away - you won't be disappointed!
Take your time and stop along the way to enjoy the views.

What route are you talking about? I will be taking the ferry from Skye to Mallaig and then driving through Glenfinnan and then down to Oban. Is this the same route or another?
