Craft Beer in Scotland

Scotland is a great producer of many things, whisky, shortbread, the telephone, The Proclaimers ;).  Another thing that Scotland is now well known for is craft beer.  For those of you who aren't sure what craft beer really is and how it differentiates to the bigger Scottish lager and beer brands such as Belhaven and Tennent's is that craft beer is beer made in a non-mechanised way by a small brewery.

To promote the vast amount of craft beer created in Scotland, we now have a Craft Beer Map on our website!  One of the breweries featured on this map is the Fyne Ales brewery, looking over the stunning Loch Fyne.  Fyne Ales have been creating many different craft beers since 2001 and were named 'Beer Destination of the Year' at the 2017 Scottish Beer Awards.

Have you got a favourite craft beer or brewery?  Check to see if they are on the map!

Are there any you love that aren't on the map?
