Hi all! I am a writer in Maine, USA, planning a trip in 2018 to the Highlands to visit Inverness, where my ancestor John MacKenzie was born in 1584. I write about craft beer here in the States, and want to expand my expertise to Scotland. What are the Must-visit craft breweries, starting in the Highlands (I’m not sure how long I’ll be there, but at least a few days). Many thanks! Kate Cone

Scotland has an awesome (and growing!) craft beer scene.
If you're passing through Glasgow you could check out the Drygate brewery, and I'm sure you'd enjoy the William's Bros brewery in Aloa, Clackmanshire too.
You'll have to let us know what you try and what your favourites end up being!
