Edinburgh event to celebrate 125 anniversary of Sherlock Holmes

Calling all Sherlock Holmes fans!

Did you know that the 14th of October 2017 marks 125 years since the publication of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes?

So, if you are in Edinburgh on this momentous day, a special ticketed event is taking place to celebrate its author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He was born in Edinburgh as well as being a student of medicine at the University of Edinburgh. On the day, you can enjoy a lunch at the Conan Doyle pub in York Place, take part in an extended Real Sherlock Holmes walking tour and attend a talk (with cake!!!) at the wonderful Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre in Palmerston Place.
