Recommendations for the Isle of Lismore

I'm considering a visit to the Isle of Lismore, anyone got any recommendations for the island? We're planning to take bikes, as it looks pretty good for cycling!

    Hi @ImogenB!

Lismore is a relatively small island but great for exploring by bicycle and has some really stunning scenery.  You can reach the island either from Oban or Port Appin and each ferry brings you into a different port; the ferry from Oban brings you into Achnacroish in the centre of the island and the Port Appin ferry arrives at the pier at the north end of the island.  Have a look at this link which has a useful map of the roads and paths on the island.  I'm sure you will have a fantastic time exploring and pop into the Lismore Gaelic Heritage Centre which has lots of great information about the island and a nice cafe. :)
