Greetings all, We are going to be spending 5 days in Edinburgh this summer and would like to know if anyone has any input on a nice, quiet neighborhood that has coffee shops, grocery stores and maybe restaurants as well. We love to explore during the day, but like to retreat to a more relaxing environment at the days end (afternoon or evening). I have been researching on my own and have found that the neighborhoods of Morningside, Dean Village and Stockbridge might be what we are looking for, but this is just based on what I read on the internet. If anybody out there has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thank everyone.
What's the most exciting activity that you can try in Scotland? Where can you get the best thrills?
I think canyoning is next on my bucket list!
In the Adrenaline Junkies Guide to Scotland
you might find something you never even knew existed (human catapult, anyone?)
Have you tried any exciting outdoor activities in Scotland which has given you butterflies in your tummy and a 'can I really do it!?' moment?
